Hey, I've heard that there's a late fee for registering for the ACT past a certain deadline. Can someone please tell me when the deadlines usually are and how much the late fee is? Thanks, your help would be great!
5 months agoSure, I'd be happy to help! The ACT has a regular deadline and a late deadline for registration. The late deadline is typically about two weeks after the regular deadline for each test administration. If you register after the regular deadline but before the late deadline, you will be charged a late fee in addition to the standard test fee.
As of now, the late fee for the ACT is $38. So, if you register during the late registration period, you would pay the standard test fee (currently $68.00 without the optional writing section, or $93.00 with the writing section) plus the late fee of $38.
Keep in mind that these fees and deadlines can change over time, so it's a good idea to double-check the ACT's official website for the most up-to-date information. It's always best to register sooner rather than later to avoid any additional fees and to secure your preferred test center.
Good luck with your ACT preparations!
